New Year
No Snow! That's bringing in the new year well. Heading out to the family today, and then to Helen's sort of last weeks xmas got postponed due to weather, and now we're heading out, cold sore and all. Including a slight, slight hangover. I'm tired, frustrated and worried, huh, just like last year.

New Year, New Wind
Now it's the wind, and the rain, we had snow again two nights ago, and I had to shovel the roof, twice! Ok, I admit, November was calm, I guess we have to get the November weather sometime. I have to redo one last website for the new year and my mind is a blank.

Party at the Museum of Flight
We're invited to the Museum of Flight for a party put on by Jorgensen Eyewear Labs, the last party they threw was at Pure in Las Vegas, that was a great party, hopefully this one will be just as awesome.

Hot 'n Sunny 'n Seattle!
Not hot anymore, but it was fun while it lasted. We had 3 days of near 90, lots of heat and warmth, even at night, so nice to bike ride in warm weather and drink beer at sunset in the warmth of the sun.

Hampton Butte Oregon Weekend
Just got back from 4 days in Hampton Butte, looking for jasper and hiking around the desert and leaving before we got stuck in the mud from 8 hours of rain.

Wallingford Kid's Parade
Spent half the day setting up a tent with Judy for the annual Wallingford Kid's Parade, hung out to help with passing out flyers and other stuff to passerbys. Got yelled at for putting garbage in the garbage can instead of the yard waste can, Seattle and it's PC crap!

OreIda Trip
Went to Oregon and Idaho to see the Craters of the Moon and just hang out in the desert for 6 days, well a couple days in hotel, but mostly camping in the van at campgrounds and other hidden places.

Rialto Beach, WA
Bruce and Becky went with us to the coast to camp at Mora campgrounds for a couple of days in the clouds and cool weather. Got a sunburn on my nose and lips, even in the clouds.

Hampton Butte with Bruce and Becky
Went back to Hampton Butte for a few days, this time with Bruce and Becky, Judy and Bruce went rockhounding, and Becky and I did our usual sit around and talk about stuff, had a good time staying up late and eating and drinking and chatting in the tent. Nice weather, no rain, and just a couple of people near by, but not in our face.

Dinner with Jean
Jean came over from the eastside of Washington and we got to go out to dinner with her and get caught up on our lives. We ate at Medin's Ravioli Station again, and the wait staff was even worst then before, but the food was really good and not too salty this time, the wine suggestion was great.

Back from California
Just spent 11 days traveling down the coast to Santa Barbara, camping along the way, visiting old campsites and friends and family. Drove the 5 from Santa Clarita to Seattle, right up the middle of California, very boring and smelly, and thrilling with the Grapevine and the fast cars and trucks speeding by us up the mountain and back down.

Back from California
Just spent 3 days in Santa Barbara, visiting Robert and Nikki for his birthday. Didn't get much sleep because of the hotel, El Prado, or as I would call it El PartyO, all night party the last night we were there, no sleep at all, and we had a early morning flight, so I wasn't too happy about this place, and I will never stay there again.

Flooded Again!
Friday afternoon the sprinkler pipe burst on the 3rd floor, showering the whole apartment building with waterfall forced flooding, my room is totalled messed up, the bed got wet, the carpet, the windowpane, the ceiling has two streaks of wetness, the room has been airing out, my computer finally is up today, and just temporarily, until the insurance and landlord look at the place tomorrow, that's right 2 days without anything being done, stupid. Wet carpet, drywall, ceilings, and they call for rain and snow, which in the past causes my room to flood from the drainpipes in the roof, if they're clogged with ice and snow, another great winter in Seattle.
